Cloud Architecture & Migration
infraOk Cloud Architecture & Migration designs and moves systems to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or Kubernetes in stages you can roll back, from a single application on virtual machines to a full data center, and modernizes them to cloud-native where it pays off.

Sound familiar?
“The data center contract renews next year and nobody wants to sign it again.”
“The application runs on three VMs that nobody dares to reboot.”
“Someone decided to 'move to Kubernetes' without saying why, or what it should cost.”
“Last year's migration moved the servers and kept every problem they had.”
What we take on
| Architecture reviews | Reliability, security, cost and operability reviewed against the AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Well-Architected frameworks, with findings ranked by effort and impact. |
|---|---|
| Migration planning | An inventory of what you run, how the pieces depend on each other, and an order of moves that keeps each step small. |
| Migration execution | Rehosting where speed matters and replatforming where it pays off, with cutover plans and a tested way back. |
| Containerization | Dockerfiles, Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests for existing applications, including the awkward stateful ones. |
| Landing zones | Account structure, networking, identity and guardrails set up once, properly, before workloads arrive. |
| Hybrid and multi-cloud | Designs that span providers or keep some workloads on-premises, when there's a real reason to. |
What you get
- An architecture decision record for each significant choice, so the reasoning outlasts staff changes
- A migration runbook per workload, rollback steps included
- Diagrams of the target architecture that match what's deployed
- A cost estimate before the move and a comparison after it
How we work
- Week 0–1
Assess
Architecture, security, reliability and spend review, delivered as a prioritized report.
- Week 1–2
Plan
Scope, SLAs, runbooks and success metrics agreed in writing before anything changes.
- Week 2–4
Build & onboard
Tooling, access and infrastructure as code in place, then a supervised handover to operations.
- Ongoing
Operate & optimize
24×7 operations, monthly service reviews and continuous cost and performance tuning.

What we don't do
- Rewriting your application. We'll point out where a rewrite is worth it and help your developers plan it.
- Recommending a move that doesn't pay off. If the numbers say stay where you are, we'll say so.

Questions, answered
How long does a cloud migration take?
It depends on how many systems move and how tangled they are. infraOk plans migrations in waves; a single application often moves in weeks, while a full data center can take several months.
Should we move everything to Kubernetes?
Not necessarily. infraOk recommends Kubernetes where you have several services, frequent releases or a need to run the same way across environments. For a single simple application, a managed platform service may cost less to run.
Can a migration be rolled back?
Yes. Every infraOk migration runbook includes a rollback path, and cutovers are planned so traffic can return to the old environment until the new one has proven itself.
